Bands alike Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, and Rancid helped bring punk music back in the 90's . This time the weave of lively, simple as soap rock with catchy pop melodies took hold on the TV. These days, so-called punk pop is a key element in the world of chart music. These 10 record albums are the best starting points to get closer to punk pop.

1. blink-182 - Enema of the State

In blink-182's endless attempt to insult all grown ups in the vicinity, that album featured a girl dressed as an enema governess on the cover. The punk pop on the record is youthful and catchy with the massive hit single “Adam's Song.”
