Punk started in the 1970's as an irritating, underground uprising against mainstream music charted by the number or sales. Bands alike Sex Pistols, Iggy Pop, and Rancid helped bring punk music back in the 90's . This time the weave of lively, simple as soap rock with catchy pop melodies took hold on the TV. 1. blink-182 - Enema of the State

In blink-182's endless attempt to insult all grown ups in the vicinity, that album featured a girl dressed as an enema governess on the cover. The punk pop on the record is youthful and catchy with the massive hit single “Adam's Song.”

2. The Donnas - Spend the Night
